Bucs Claim Former Patriot Haynesworth
Albert Haynesworth have been claimed off waivers by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to sources.
The New England Patriots had put the much maligned defensive tackle on waivers yesterday. Teams had until 4PM today to claim Haynesworth.
Tampa Bay has a need for defensive lineman with Gerald McCoy out for the season with a torn bicep. The Bucs also signed former Buffalo Bill defensive tackle John McCargo.
Haynesworth was a non-factor for the Patriots defense this season only making three tackles in six games played.
