Philadelphia Eagles tackle Jason Peters re-injured his right Achilles tendon in a fall at his home. Peters was on his Roll-A-Bout at the time when the device gave way and Peters fell on his face and ruptured his surgically repaired Achilles tendon. Peters plans on suing the makers of Roll-A-Bout, a device used for people with leg or foot injuries to move around freely. A second surgery was performed on Peters and set his recovery time back by about three weeks. Peters was not expected to play during the 2012 season after originally rupturing the Achilles in March while working out.
