Former Brown Jerome Harrison Battling Seizures
Former Cleveland Browns running back Jerome Harrison is suffering from post-tumor seizures, according to former teammate Josh Cribbs.
When the Detroit Lions traded the running back back to the Philadelphia Eagles, the team doctors discovered a brain tumor. The trade was nullified and Harrison was sent back to the Lions.
While talking about his own recovery from a recent concussion, Josh Cribbs told MLive.com, "...I still go over to his house every now and then and talk to him. He's doing pretty bad. He's in and out of the hospital with seizures...". Cribbs also mentioned that his family wants him to retire from football so he doesn't end up like Harrison.
"She wants me to get a CAT scan, especially with what happened to (Harrison)." Cribbs told MLive.com.
Harrison's agent told the Lions' website that Harrison was "progressing with his recovery". Harrison is still on the Lions' Reserve/Non-Football Illness list.
We wish Jerome the best and a quick recovery.
