Jose Reyes To Miami "Almost A Done Deal"
It is growing more and more likely that, like LeBron James, Jose Reyes will be taking his talents to South Beach.
Reports are swirling that Reyes to the Marlins is "almost a done deal". This move will certainly help the Marlins chances in the NL East.
If the deal done in fact get done, Hanley Ramirez, the Marlins current shortstop, will more than likely move to third base. Details are unclear on what the terms are.
The Marlins are also meeting with Albert Pujols, the top free agent in this years class, and Mark Buehrle. The Marlins have been looking for a left handed starter to compliment Josh Johnson and Buehrle would feel right at home with new manager Ozzie Guillen.
The Marlins have gone under an extensive makeover with the renaming of the team, new uniforms, new manager, and new stadium. Also, it appears as if this team is willing to spend some money. Look out for the Marlins, if Josh Johnson stays healthy, they could be a dark horse in the National League.
