Many athletes are already complaining about the Olympic Village just ahead of the Opening Ceremony on Friday night. The athletes are saying that there is a lack of air conditioning in the dorm rooms.
Except the British ones.
The British dorms are the only ones that have air conditioning while the athletes from other countries have to resort to using fans.
American hurdler Lolo Jones tweeted, "No air conditioners. Its HOT in the rooms. No need to practice, just lay in ur bed & sweat. Where r the applications for the Winter Olympics??"
Even the Aquatics Centre is having issues with the AC. The temperature inside the Aquatics Centre reached 85 degrees, the same temperature outside the building.
There are major concerns that the water will not cool down to the regulation 79.7 degrees and it is worrying some coaches.
Not a good omen for the London Games.
