Former Massachusetts governor and Republican candidate for the Presidency, Mitt Romney and his wife's horse will compete at the London Olympic Games.
Ann Romney's horse, Rafalca, qualified for the US dressage team and will be ridden by Jan Ebeling, Ann Romney's riding tutor.
This will be the first Olympics Games for the 53-year old rider after finishing third at qualifying at the United States Equestrian Team Foundation headquarters in Florida.
"I only looked at the scoreboard one time, and it looked good, and I thought, don’t look again,” Ebeling said
Both Mitt and Ann Romney attended the Opening Ceremony and could stay for the dressage event some time later in the week.
