Rockies Pitcher Mike Ekstrom Told To Hurry Up by MLB
In a letter from MLB's disciplinarian, Joe Garagiola, Jr., the MLB was warned Colorado Rockies pitcher Mike Ekstrom to hurry up when he pitches or he will be disciplined by the league.
The letter, obtained by Baseball Prospectus' Adam Sobsey, tells the Rockies pitcher that he when longer than the 2:25 allotted to warm up when coming into a game.

Additionally, Ekstrom caused delays in two straight games against the Philadelphia Phillies in mid-July.
The rule Ekstrom is breaking is Section 1(d) of Baseball's Pace of Game Regulations, that was introduced into the league in 2009.
