An Old Town, Maine woman has been will serve four months in prison for pawning former MLB player Matt Stairs' MLB rings.
Andrea Bouchard, 28, was sentenced to three years in prison with all but four months suspended when she plead guilty to two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, and two counts of receiving stolen property.
Stairs' home in Bangor was one of the houses that she stole from. Some of the Stairs' jewelry was returned, but his MLB rings were not returned. Stairs had rings from when he and the Detroit Tigers won the AL pennant in 2006 and National League championship rings from 2008 and 2009 when he was with the Philadelphia Phillies.
Stairs recently moved back to his native New Brunswick and said that he had been considering moving from Maine for some time and the burglary put it over the top.
