Gronk Has Surgery To Repair Injured Ankle
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski had ankle surgery on Friday, according to reports.
Gronkowski injured his ankle during the AFC Championship win versus the Baltimore Ravens. The Patriots reported that he suffered a high ankle sprain in that game.
He played in Super Bowl XLVI, but was a non-factor, catching only two passes. The Pats used him as a decoy, but the Giants didn't buy it.
The recovery time for a surgery such as this is ten weeks.
No word on whether is shirtless dancing and partying aggravated his injured ankle.
