Bijan Robinson Heating Up Just in Time for Falcons

When the Atlanta Falcons spent a top-10 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Texas running back Bijan Robinson, many expected him to immediately become the focal point of Arthur Smith's offense.

Instead, Robinson's often sparse usage throughout his rookie season has left fans and analysts alike wondering why the Falcons spent such a high pick on him. Despite flashes of brilliance, Robinson has still been splitting touches with Tyler Allgeier and Cordarrelle Patterson.

His performance in Sunday's crucial win over the New Orleans Saints was more along the lines of those preseason expectations, as Robinson racked up over 100 total yards and found the end zone twice, once through the air and once on the ground:

Sunday's win put the Falcons in first place in the NFC South, and if they keep feeding Robinson like they did against the Saints, they might just ride him all the way to the postseason.
