Christian Pulisic and Yunus Musah are back in Italy after their success with the United States national team, but they will not be at training today.

Pulisic and Musah celebrated into the early hours of Monday morning (in European time at least) as the United States beat Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League final.

Having come from behind in the semi-finals against Jamaica, the USMNT had a bit of an easier time of things during Sunday’s final at the AT&T Stadium as they secured a 2-0 win over Mexico, with Tyler Adams and Gio Reyna scoring.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the winger and the midfielder are back in Italy but today they will be able to enjoy a day of rest.

The idea is not only to recover from the celebrations but also the stress of the transatlantic trip and jet lag, so as to be able to start preparing in the best possible way – starting from tomorrow – for the challenging Saturday night trip to Florence.

From tomorrow, therefore, Musah and Pulisic will start working with the team again at Milanello to prepare for the match against Vincenzo Italiano’s team at a stadium that they have often struggled in.
